Long-range leveling to 600 feet is possible with the digital laser detector. Laser setup is quick and easy with the tool's built-in three-in-one floor mount, adjustable rack-and-pinion wall mount, and 5/8-inch-by-11-inch threaded tripod insert. A quick-release lever allows the laser head to pivot instantly for horizontal or vertical applications. The variable speed setting controls the beam rotation from 0 to 600 rpm. Once the unit is set up, a built-in bump sensor alerts the user if the tool is accidentally bumped, ensuring accurate and consistent beam position. For job site durability, the rotary laser has a die-cast metal protective cap and a rugged side-impact roll cage. Power for the unit comes from the DeWalt battery system, with up to 14 hours of continuous run time from an 18-volt XR+ battery pack. For quick-change compatibility, the rotary laser accepts DeWalt battery packs from 9.6 to 18 volts. The DW073K includes laser, 18-volt XR+ battery, charger, laser target card, laser enhancement glasses, and kit box.
